The babbling Ell Brook and river Leadon run alongside the property where The Mill was originally used to mill flour.
The Mill wheel is still visible but has been out of action for some time.
Bought in 2001 by owners Jo & Mo the lake was constructed and became home to an array of beautiful fish including Carp, Rudd, Roach and Trout.
The lake attracts an abundence of wildlife and makes this waterside location the perfect place to relax and take some time out of the hustle and bustle of every day life. With stunning views across the rolling countryside a meadow path leads to a secluded riverside retreat where you will find a woven willow tree house – the perfect spot to watch the sun go down over the dreamy English countryside.
Since owning the property Jo has been running the Bed and Breakfast alongside a busy family life, recently daughter Danielle has taken up the roll of reservations and has completely refurbished all five rooms – Lockdown was a very productive time here at The Mill.
With a total revamp of all the guest rooms and bathrooms and offering a delicious new buffet style continental breakfast we are finally ready to open our doors, welcome our new guests and do what we love most!
WELCOME BACK!
